We all know that, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt was serving five-year sentence in Yerawada central prison in Pune. He was caught for illegal possession and destruction of an AK-56 rifle in 1993 serial blasts case. News is that, this super star will be set free from jail on February 25 on the grounds of good conduct and behaviour. This release will be 103 days before the official end of his prison term.

According to sources, the state secretariat Dr Ranjit Patil, the minister of state home, approved and cleared the proposal. He has not given an official confirmation that the proposal was cleared and he has not denied it either.

Sanjay Dutt was convicted in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case for possessing illegal weapons in his house. Later on he was sentenced to five years in jail. He had already served 18 months before the verdict was pronounced. The actor is currently serving 42 months of his remaining jail term, after the Supreme Court upheld his conviction in 2013.
