Shahid Kapoor celebrates 'Udta Punjab' release

After much hue and cry, 'Udta Punjab' finally has been cleared for its release, with only one cut and an 'A' certificate. The film, which got the censor board certificate of late, will now release as per its schedule date and that is, 17th June 2016!

'Udta Punjab' hero, Shahid Kapoor tweeted about this win on behalf of the film and its cast, by posting a pic of the film's certificate issued by the CBFC. "#win", Shahid captioned the pic.

Udta Punjab's trailer has created immense buzz around the trailer of the film. In fact it was also tagged as the buzziest trailer of the year! It also has the trend back of a multistarrer which is another element of excitement amongst the audience.

Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Phantom Productions, 'Udta Punjab' is directed by Abhishek Chaubey and stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh.
