Vinayan and Suresh Gopi are together for an action film. Titled Black Cat, the movie features Suresh Gopi in the role of Black, a henchman.

He plays a dreadful gangster, who executes anything on the orders of his boss. Apart from Suresh Gopi, the film has Thilakan, Jagadish, Rajan P Dev, Meena and Karthika.

Suresh Gopi has grown his hair long for the movie and has reduced his weight considerably. Says Vinayan, 'The highlight of the movie is stunt sequences. Kanal Kannan has taken the charge of choreographing stunt sequences'.

The film has the story and the screenplay by Vinayan and dialogues by Jayasoma. Songs are penned by Vayalar Sharat Chandra Varma and Rajeev Alungal and music composed by Alphonse and M Jayachandran.
