Suresh Gopi was admitted yesterday to lakeshore hospital, Ernakulam, following burns in his right arm that occured while shooting.

Suresh Gopi was acting out the final schedule of Rashtram, a film by Anil.C.Menon in a factory near Aroor.The burns occured when they were on to an important scene in the film,the explosion that was planned in the factory building.

Other crew members escaped without any slight injury in the incident. Suresh Gopi will resume with the shooting after two days ,since the injury is not too serious.

Suresh Gopi is playing the role of young chief minister in this political thriller.
