Suresh Gopi's ‘Paappan’ all set to release!

Mollywood Superstar Suresh Gopi is prepping up to reunite with veteran filmmaker Joshiy with the upcoming action entertainer 'Paappan' after 22 years. Interestingly, the movie will mark his 252nd project and the audience have pinned high hopes on the movie. A day ago, the actor unveiled a brand new poster for the film and announced that ‘Paappan’ will be arriving soon. “ #Paappan and Michael reaching you soon! Excited to share our brand new poster," penned Suresh Gopi. It was recently, the veteran actor shared the second look poster of the movie and was shelling out his iconic character major Bharathchandran I.P.S vibes in the Policeman avatar! The poster was viral on the internet.

Paappan also has the actor's son Gokul Suresh sharing the screen with his dad for the first time. Nyla Usha plays the female lead, with Sunny Wayne, Neeta Pillai, Kaniha, Asha Sarath Vijayaraghavan, Tini Tom, Janaradhanan, Shammi Thilakan, Binu Pappu, and Chandu Nath fill up the other integral roles.

Paappan’s script is penned down by the writer RJ Shaan who is best known for the Manju Warrier - Shane Nigam starrer ‘C/O Saira Banu’. Cinematography is by Ajay David Kachappily, who has collaborated previously with Joshiy for the film ‘Porinju Mariam Jose’. Editing is by Shyam Sasidharan and music is by Jakes Bejoy. Reportedly, the makers of the movie are eyeing for a theatrical release on March 31. Though the makers are yet to announce the release date officially, reports suggest that it is a confirmed date. The film is being produced by David Kachappilly Productions and Cubes International Group and will be presented by Agosh Cinemas and Chand V Movies.
