The India Today-CVoter Mood of the Nation poll is hogging the attention of millions of political enthusiasts. The survey says that, if Lok Sabha elections are held today, the ruling BJP would win 284 seats. The NDA would win 298 seats. This is almost 50 seats less than what the NDA won in 2019.

And the UPA, led by the Congress party, would win 153 seats if the elections were held today. In other words, Rahul Gandhi won't become the PM. If this survey holds, it is going to be Narendra Modi once again in 2024.

Covid-19 handling, Article 370 and Ram Mandir are seen as NDA's biggest achievements. Price rise and unemployment have been stated as the Modi government's biggest failures.

Projections for Telangana, Andhra Pradesh:

In Telangana, BJP will win six Lok Sabha seats, with the rest 11 going to TRS. In 2019, BJP won four seats. It could mean that, in the Assembly elections, it is going to be TRS once again in December 2018.

In AP, TDP will win 10 LS seats if it contests alone. With Jana Sena and BJP, the tally could increase. This shows that TDP's popularity is improving, while that of the YCP government has come down drastically since 2019. It has to be seen how the equations will play out in the Assembly elections if these numbers hold.
