Megastar Mammootty's recent hit 'The Great Father' is all set to be remade in Telugu. If the reports are to be believed, Telugu Superstar Venkatesh has shown interest in remaking the movie in Telugu. According to the buzz, the actor is in talks with few directors to remake the movie in Telugu. An official confirmation from the team is expected soon. 

Starring Mammootty, Sneha, Arya, Baby Anikha and Malavika Mohanan, The Great Father is a stylish revenge thriller that talks about father-daughter bonding. The Haneef Adeni directorial which was released this year was a huge success at the box office. 

Venkatesh had earlier remade Mohanlal’s 2013 blockbuster film Drishyam in Telugu. Recently he also starred in Guru, the Telugu version of Madhavan’s superhit Tamil film 'Irudhi Suttru'.
