Three films from today

Three new films are to be released today in Malayalam cinema. The biggest among them is Nadhiya Kollapetta Rathri, the investigative thriller by K Madhu. The film with a lot of specialties is getting released in 36 centres all across the state.

The movie which has Suresh Gopi in the lead will have Kavya Madhavan in a double role. The film is mostly shot on a moving train and tells the story behind three murders that happened in a train, Prithviraj appears in a key guest role in the film, which has scripts by A K Sajan. The film is said to be a crucial one, for Suresh Gopi, who have not created one super hit in 2007.

Prithviraj also have a release today with Veeralipattu. The film which was completed last year later changed its name. The movie features Padmapriya for the first time opposite Prithviraj. Directed by Kuku Surendran, the film tells a family story in the scripts of Ashok sai. Opening in 25 centres, Veeralipattu will be the only release of Prithviraj in the next three months.

Thaniye is the third film that is making into theatres today. Produced by NRI organization, friends of Thiruvalla, the film in a noncommercial venture, which tells a realistic story. Directed by Babu Thiruvalla, the movie is said to bring in much accolades and awards for its lead actor Nedumudi Venu.
