Trailer Review: 24 Kisses

Hebbah Patel and Adith Arun are not just into romance, kisses and sex. They have a proper love story. That's what the trailer suggests, complete with a hero who seems to be commitment-phobic while manipulating the emotions of a girl who is seriously in love with him.

Director Ayodhyakumar Krishnamsetty infuses some bold language (read "fu*k around" etc) and that's good. Rao Ramesh's character becomes a commentator who must be mirroring the thoughts of the audience.

Is the film misogynistic? We hope not but our films can go to any extent in creating sympathy around even flawed males. So, towards the end of the trailer, Rao Ramesh's character says that women can't be cracked!

Hebbah Patel might just have got a meaty role, finally, once again after 'Kumari 21F'. Adith Arun is convincing.

Coming with the caption 'Neeko sagam, naako sagam, ee uthsavam', '24 Kisses' also features Aditi Myakal. Produced by Sanjay Reddy, Anil Pallala, and Ayodhya Kumar Krishnamsetty, the rom-com has music by Joi Barua and cinematography by Uday Gurrala. Editing is by Aalayam Anil. Written by the director and Hari Shankar, it has lyrics by Ramajogayya Sastry. Art direction is by Hari Varma.
