Sagar Chandra, who has earlier directed Rajendra Prasad-starrer 'Ayyare', is out to come with 'Appatlo Okadundevadu', starring Nara Rohith and Sri Vishnu in lead roles.

The trailer suggests that there is loads of drama around money, which was also at the centre of 'Ayyare'. While Nara Rohith plays a Muslim by name Nooruddin Mohammad Imtiaz Ali (seen in the dress of a cop), Sri Vishnu of 'Prema Ishq Kadhal' and the recent 'Jayammu Nischayammu Raa' fame is the other most important character. Based on certain true incidents that took place in the 1990s, it seems to be a period drama with cricket and cinema as motifs.

Brahmaji's presence seems to be interesting. Perhaps, there is a political backdrop as well, as can be seen in Ravi Varma's character.

What is the war that the cop Imtiaz, who thinks others' money is 'haram' (the Islamic word for profane), is suspense for now.

Music-directed by Sai Karthik, it has editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. Cinematography is by Baveen Yadav. Prashanthi and Krishna Vijay are co-producing it.
