The trailer of Brahmotsavam unveils the theme at the outset. Prominently seen in this trailer are Mahesh, Samantha and Kajal, while Pranitha Subhash gives a miss. Veteran character artists Sathyaraj and Rao Ramesh have a line each, while Revathi and Jayasudha give a miss.

It begins with Samantha's character expressing the wish that every moment be a celebration. "Akkada nalantode nakokadu tagiladu," she says, suggesting that she stumbles upon a relatives-loving guy somewhere. Mahesh seems to be there in the family to fix some problems in order to unveil a 'Pandanti Kapuram' saga.

As for the romantic track, Mahesh is seen flirting with both Samantha and Kajal. To Kajal's character, he says, "Ikkada unna rangulanni nee lone unnayi. Naluguri lo vacchi choodocchu ga." "Abbayilaku kavalisindi oka hug, oka muddhu, dani kosam emaina chesestaru," says Kajal, only to be given a funny repartee by the inimitable Mahesh, SVSC-accent style. Mahesh is seen pulling the heroine's legs when he says he can't fall behind her every moment, and yes, Mahesh is pampered for being that dreamy Mr. Handsome.

Mahesh's emotional "Bathuku bagu korukuntadi.. Ooru paruvu korukuntadi. Rendoo levani telustundi ikkada" hints at a flashback loaded with some high drama.

Sathyaraj's "Aina bathakadam ante okarinokaru nammukovadam, ammukovadam kadhu" re-introduces Katappa as a quintessential wise elder. Samantha's seven generations line conjures up the image of a XXL Joint Family!

Rao Ramesh is pretty disappointed, but Mahesh's sarcastic 'Naa beerakay suttam' only says that Srikanth Addala is going to give us a feel of Andhra accent yet again.
