These days, branching out into new things is the flavour of the season. Prabhakar and Ohmkar have turned into directors, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Rashmi are doing movies. Now,the most sought-after anchor Suma has produced an indie film.

Titled as 'Alanaati Ramachandrudu', the film hits the screens in September. It has been co-produced by Rajeev Kanakala. The trailer has been unveiled on the hands of K Raghavendra Rao.

Coming to the subject, the film deals with the story of a sexagenarian whose passion for filmmaking draws him towards an arrogant star. What consequences follow is the crux of the movie. Directed by Sandeep Mendi, it stars debutantes Prawin Yendamuri, Naveen Patamatalanka and Sreemukhi Mekala in the main roles.
