In cricket, the second innings is always more difficult than the first one.

It is also very much so in life, too.

But only the best shape up in the second innings.

Uday Kiran understands this. And that is why, he is now more careful than ever.

The young actor, who had a blistering start to his career, however, hit a wall after a series of ill-conceived films and some personal problems.

The young man, who was once touted as the next big thing in the industry, is now picking up the threads of his life.

But he is clear that he will not repeat his mistakes.

And he is also slowly getting more offers.

The news is that Chandra Sidhartha, who directed Aa Naluguru, is all set to make a film with Uday in the lead.

Uday is not ready to comment on his films now. He is being discreet about his work. All he would say is that he is starting from scratch all over again. He is not bitter about his past. He is sure that he was not responsible for many things that happened in his life.

He is happy that things are now slowly getting back to normal.

Reports have it that he is all set to play the lead role in a Tamil film that is to be directed by veteran K Balachander. the film is to be produced by Prakash Raj.

The second innings is well and truly on.
