After the critically acclaimed hit film 'Manithan' that released in April 2016, actor-producer Udhayanidhi Stalin has not had a release so far. He has completed shooting for director Ezhil's rural entertainer 'Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen' and he is presently shooting for 'Ippadai Vellum' directed by Gaurav Narayan and 'Podhuvaga En Manasu Thangam' directed by Thalapathy Prabhu.

Udhay who has also produced 'Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen' under his Red Giant Movies banner has confirmed that the trailer and music album of the film composed by D.Imman will be released on March 28, 2017. This will be his first release of the year as an actor as well as producer.

Though the theatrical release date is yet to be announced, we learn from a reliable source that the makers are planning to release the film in the second week of May 2017.

'SIB' stars Udhay, Regina Cassandra and Srushti Dange in lead roles. Soori and Livingston play important supporting roles.
