Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 61st film directed by Atlee was launched and shooting began on February 1 and still going on in ECR. Vijay has been taking part in the shoot continuously since the day 1.

Now we learn from a reliable source that the first schedule will be wrapped up on the last but one day of this month that is Feb 27th.

After a break for a few days the team will resume shooting in early march. The second schedule will also happen in Chennai in the sets erected by Art Director Muthuraj.

The film is being produced by Sri Thenandal Films banner as their prestigious 100th production venture. Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj. Vadivelu. Kovai Sarala and Sathyan are part of the cast. A.R.Rahman is the music director.
