24 Frames Academy gave away its awards to Lajja and its creator, Narasimha Nandi. Speaking on the occasion, yesteryear director Tammareddy Bharadwaj drew a parallel between himself and Narasimha Nandi. “I have always tried to make films that suit my predispositions rather than those that can make big money. Although I wanted to change mid-way, my heart wasn`t in agreement. Narasimha Nandi, too, doesn`t think about money. It`s only of late that the audience`s tastes are changing. I hope more and more such concept-oriented films will be made in future. The audience will surely warm up to such stuff,” Tammareddy said.

Narasimha Nandi said that he was inspired by Tammareddy. “Even in the future, I want to make films that are according to my style. Following this path, I will deliver a commercial success one day. We want to produce at least one film every year on the banner we friends have set up. Buddareddy Breaking News has already been completed for most part.”
