Actress Rani Mukerji's brother Raja will soon direct a Bengali movie "Bidhatar Lekha".

Raja inherits the directorial skills from his father Ram Mukherjee, a well-known director ("Leader" and "Hum Hindustani").

Raja's debut film would not be the regular Bollywood masala fare. Instead it will be a romantic anecdote based in Darjeeling.

The Mukherjee family has many Bollywood connections. Raja's mother was a playback singer while his aunt Debashree Roy is a well-known Bengali actress. Not to forget his distant cousin Kajol, one of Bollywood's most versatile actresses.
