Riteish - Genelia reunion to wait

The news has started making rounds that after the success of 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya', producer Kumar Taurani and director Mandeep Kumar would be coming together for a new film. There were also speculations being heard around whether the film would be a sequel to the Riteish Deshukh and Genelia D'Souza starrer or if the couple would be making a comeback in an altogether fresh story.

However, as it turns out, this is not the case as all as the cast for the film is yet to be finalised.

"These are plain rumours that Riteish-Genelia would be coming together for this film. In fact they have not been even approached for any film by the producer-director team," confirms a source close to the production house.

While the work on the script is still on, the makers insist that one waits for an official announcement to come in before any more names get mentioned.

Says Kumar Taurani, "The news is untrue that Riteish and Genelia are in for the film. It is an altogether different film that Mandeep is making. We would soon be letting out details."
