Megastar apologises due to belligerent fans

Megastar Chiranjeevi had to face the brunt of the actions of his fans. He apologized to Rajasekhar and Jeevita and their children, as his fans attacked them following a comment by Rajasekhar yesterday evening in Bheemavaram.

Around 11.30 today morning, Allu Arvind accompanied the Rajasekhar, Jeevita couple from the car and took them into their residence where the megastar was waiting for them.

Here, they met up and discussed the issue with Chiranjeevi and later the megastar spoke to the huge crowd of media persons who had gathered at Rajasekhar’s residence.

He said he was unaware of the behaviour of his fans on the previous night and said that he seriously condemned the acts of his fans. He also said he was shocked that people who called themselves his fans had attacked Jeevita and their two little daughters.

He said he could understand the pain of the family as he himself is a family man and is the father of two daughters. Chiranjeevi also made it a point to clarify that he did not have any hand in instigating the masses.

He said that he had due respects for Rajasekhar and his views and added that they the film fraternity was like one large family.

Chiranjeevi explained that the matter had come to his notice at about 8 in the morning when his family informed him about the live telecast on TV9.

All in all, Rajasekhar and Jeevita expressed their happiness about the megastar’s reaction and said that fans should learn to behave themselves if they really wanted to see their star leading them and heading a party in future.

They were happy with Chiranjeevi’s response and the way he had admonished his fans to refrain from acts, as violence was not a solution to any problem.
