Hot Tamil star Suriya has been one actor who has got a very special place in the heart of the Telugus. With his movies like 'Shivaputrudu' 'Ghajini' 'Aaru' 'Surya s/o Krishnan', Suriya has carved a special mark and he has left a deep impact with his versatile performances. Now, he is all set to arrive with a rather commercial entertainer. This has been titled 'Veedokkade'.

The film has been directed by the famous cinematographer K V Anand and it is produced by the prestigious AVM banner. The music for the film has been composed by Harris Jayaraj and the audio of the movie has got a decent response. This is a dubbing of the Tamil movie 'Ayan' that has turned out to be a super duper hit and it is said that this has recorded the highest collections in Suriya's career.

The leading lady of the film is the milk white beauty Tamannah and the onscreen chemistry between both worked out really well. This also has Prabhu, Jagan, Karunaas, Renuka, Ponvannan in the support cast and a very special mention has to be made of the Bollywood actor Akashdeep Saigal who makes his debut as the villain in this one. The technical aspects of the movie are said to be top notch and especially the stunt and action sequences, part of which were choreographed by the Hollywood expert Franz Spilhaus has been remarkable. The subject as such is an old one but then there is a message for the youth here. It is about unemployed youth and how they get lured into smuggling. There is a rivalry between two gangs and one has got Suriya in it. How he goes about taking revenge when his boss gets killed forms the basic essence of the plot. The film is presented by the Sun Pictures. This is going to be a complete action treat and will have all ingredients for the mass and the class lovers.
