It must have been a busy day for Union Minister Dasari Narayana Rao yesterday.

In the morning he was busy launching the audio of Chiranjeevi's Jai Chiranjeeva.

By evening, he was at hand to release the audio of Manoj's Sri in Annapurna studios.

It was literally a star-studded evening with a huge roster of names from the industry.

Mohan Babu, Srihari, Vishnu, Manoj, Srikanth, Paruchuri brothers, B Gopal, Seenu Vytla, Suresh Krishna, Tamanna, Anushka, Sunil, Rajesh were among those spotted at the function.

The film's director Dasaradh, who had got married just the other day, was conspicuous by his cheerful presence.

It was another evening when adjectives kept forcing themselves into every sentence.

Tamanna, the film's heroine, was all praise for his co-star Manoj and the film's producer Mohan Babu.

Srihari was also not far behind. He recalled his own association with Mohan Babu and his interaction with the Manoj and Vishnu when they were kids.

Finally it was left to Dasari to call a spade a spade. He took exception to the the film's music director Sandeep Chowtha not being present in the function.'Music directors who don't attend audio launches should be banned,' he said.

'We should also stop importing actors and technicians from Bollywood. Andhra Pradesh had the history of giving heroines like Waheeda Rehman, Shabana Azmi, Sridevi, Jaya Pradha and Rekha to Bollywood'.

Strong words. But true words, too.
