Balakrishna pays homage to Gopal Reddy

The renowned producer S Gopal Reddy who has achieved a niche for himself with creditable movies has breathed his last. He has been under hospitalization for the past one month to undergo treatment for a kidney malfunction in Chennai.

Gopal Reddy is the proprietor of Bhargav Arts which has made quite a number of movies with the actor Balakrishna. He hails from Chittamuru Mandal of Gunapatipalem Village.

Late in the evening of 12th September, his remains were brought to his residence at Nayudupet in Nellore district. His friends, relatives and fans hoarded and thronged towards his residence to pay their homage and last respects to the veteran producer.

Balakrishna, a favourite hero of Bhargav Arts made was present to pay his homage and last respects. On a tearful note he said, "I am grateful all my life to Gopal Reddy for casting me in his production ventures. He has produced films of international standards in Telugu. Personally, the emptiness created in my heart by his demise will be irreplaceable."

The cremation is to be done today at Vakada Mandal, Pandali village. A lot of eminent stars from the film fraternity will be attending this cremation.
