Here is an album you cannot afford to ignore.  MM Keeravani can pride himself as being one veteran who can reach out to the 21st century music lovers with his trademark music, that draws from the old and the new.  Female voices are conspicuous by their absence while male voices (Vijay Prakash, Deepu, Rahul, Anuj Gurwara) are really noteworthy.

Ananth Sriram, Ram Jhogayya Sastry, Chaitanya Prasad and Keeravani write soulful lyrics.

Ne Ne Nani Ne    Listen here

Artists: Deepu, Sahiti
Lyricist: MM Keeravani

The song is a genuine melody, raised to another level by the breezy feel created by Keeravani's placid instrumentation.  The vocals of Deepu and Sahiti emerge victorious, sans noisy acoustics.  The lyrics are a welcome change.

Ga Ee Ga Ee Ga Ee   Listen here

Artists: Deepu, Rahul Sipligunj, Sravana Bhargavi, Chaitra
Lyricist: Rama Jhogaya Sastry

This fly challenges that it will trump its villain and prove its masculinity.  The best one in the album, be it in terms of instrumentation, lyrics or intensity, Ga Ee Ga makes for a good situational song.  Sastry's lyrics catch the psyche of the murderous Eega, which describes itself as a 'suicide bomb'.  Truly funny and emotional.

Konchem Konchem   Listen here

Artist: Vijay Prakash
Lyricist: Ananth Sriram

Konchem Konchem sounds like a college campus song, but Keeravani lends his midas touch to make it sound like an old-time rock song somewhere in the middle.  Vijay Prakash's tone is inspiring.  Ananth Sriram does a good job in giving voice to the boy's heart-felt feelings.

Lava Lava   Listen here

Artists: Anuj Gurwara
Lyricist: Chaitanya Prasad

Left to RGV, he would ask the musician to remove the instrumentation.  Given Rajamouli's taste for music, you have a song that will suck you grow on you with the very first listening.  Lyrics capture the raging desire of the lecher (?) in the similie of lava.  Anuj Gurwara's voice has a ring of fearsomeness.

Ga Ee Ga Ee Ga Ee (Remix)   Listen here

Lyricist: Rama Jhogaya Sastry

This one is a remix with a difference.  Here the malevolent Eega assumes the voice of a kid, inducing a sense of horror.  Kudos to Keeravani for belting out a brilliant remix.
