The hugely acclaimed Vidya Balan is known to get into the skin of her characters. In Mohit Suri's 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani', Vidya plays the role of a florist who works at a hotel owned by Emraan Hashmi (he plays a hotelier owning hotels across the world). Vidya requested that while the pre-production of the film was on, she trains with a florist so that she looks authentic on screen when she arranges flowers and decorates hotels with her creativity. Mohit immediately agreed to this suggestion and hired for Vidya a trained florist from a 5-star hotel in Mumbai. Dedication seems to be the middle name for the 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' cast!

Mohit, who has directed 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' post back to back blockbusters 'Aashiqui 2' and 'Ek Villain', confirms saying, "Vidya is known to give her very best for the roles she gets sold on to and she got deeply connected with her character, Vasudha, in 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani'. She wanted to give 200 percent for the film and as a director I was simply thrilled to have a talented actor like her investing so much for my film. We hired a florist who trained her for the part. We were all amazed at her dedication to even get into such intricate things. No wonder audiences love what Vidya Balan has to offer in her movies."

'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' that releases on June 12, questions the very definition that society has for love and poses a simple reflective question - is marriage the true culmination of love?
