Sree Vishnu is happy that 'Mental Madhilo' has been received well by the audience. In this interview, he talks about what he loves to do, how he approaches a script, and more.

How are you enjoying the success of 'Mental Madhilo'?

Success always tastes good. The feeling is similar in my case, too. I am glad that my work has been appreciated. This is one film of mine that is making money even while it's playing in the theatres.

How did this project fall into place for you?

During the making of 'Appatlo Okadundevadu', Raj Kandukuri garu asked Vivek Athreya (director) to meet with me. I said OK just 10 minutes after listening to the narration.

Your character in 'MM' is a confused individual. How are you like in real life?

I take definitive decisions in my life. What suits me best, I go for that. For example, I like a script but feel that it is not apt for me, I won't do that. My policy is to go with those that befit me.

What are your friends saying about your movie? How has the reaction from celebs been?

It was Nara Rohit who was the first one to watch it. He liked it a lot. He did a guest role as soon as I asked him to.

All the celebs have appreciated us. Although a simple story, there is nothing to dislike about it since there is magic in the screenplay. Some of them have liked it a lot!

How has the response from the audiences been like?

Right from the premieres, I have watched the movie with audiences more than a few times. Their response has been unanimous. The track involving me and Shivaji Raja garu, and the rom-com track, have been loved by all.

How was it working with Nivetha Pethuraj and Amrutha Srinivasan?

Before this movie, I had worked only with Northern girls. I wouldn't interact much with them. Even now, I don't interact much with my heroines. But since Nivetha and Amrutha are both Southern girls, it was easier. It's because of them that I could pull it off in a better way!

What kind of scripts do you want to choose in future? What are your upcoming movies?

I don't have any specific plans. If I like a narration, I will go with that film. As long as it suits me, I am for it. 'Needi Nadi Oke Katha' is ready for release. 'Tippara Meesam' and 'Veerabhoga Vasantharayalu' are the other films that I am doing.
