Rakshit has paired up with 'Colours Swathi' for the film 'London Babulu', which releases on Nov 10. In this interview, the debutante talks about how the film happened to him, the subject, his learning curve and more.

What can we expect from the film?

For director B Chinnikrishna, 'London Babulu' is his third movie. Our film is the remake of the Tamil film 'Aandavan Kattalai'. I must say that the film has large doses of comedy and sentiment.

We have seen the first copy and are very happy with the way the film has shaped up. Director Maruthi garu, who is the film's producer, took so much care during the making.

How did this film happen to you in the first place?

I have known Maruthi garu for a few years now. Even when I was doing my Engineering, he had asked me if I would be interested in acting. As soon as I completed my graduation, I came to Hyderabad and met with him. By then, he was already mooting this project.

What is the premise of 'LB'?

Many people have this dream of settling down abroad and making money. That's the premise of 'London Babulu'. As for the subject, it tells the story of a lower middle-class guy. What happens when, out of the need for money, he tries to get a Visa, is what the crux is all about. How he reaches London ultimately is the finale.

How was it working with Swathi?

I am happy to have got to work with Swathi gau, who is a senior actress. She has played the role of a journalist in this movie.

What has been the learning curve for you, and what are your upcoming movies?

I am learning both dancing and dialogue-delivery. As I worked on 'LB', I got to learn the challenges. In the process, my respect towards cinema has only increased. I haven't accepted any new film. I am listening to new scripts.
