The shooting for Suresh Gopi's Lanka is currently on at full pace. Recently a major portion of the movie was shot in and around Mangalore.

Suresh Gopi plays the role of marine commander Shravan in the film. Mamta Mohandass, the recent sensation in Malluwood, is playing his heroine.

In Lanka, Suresh Gopi goes to Sri Lanka on a special rescue mission at the request of Sri Lankan Government. The rest is all but how his heroics helps him is succeeding in his mission. Most of the film and its action-oriented climax were shot in Sri Lanka.

Interestingly unlike his earlier films, Lanka would also have romance and Suresh Gopi would be found running around trees romancing.
