Naga Chaitanya in this interview says that the output of 'Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam' has come out very well. Nevertheless, he is nervous.

As he talks about the film's USP, working with DSP and Kalyan Krishna and more, we listen in.

A day before the release of the movie, what is your state of mind?

Although I am very happy with the output, I am obviously nervous. My body language in the movie is completely different. He is full of energy and this is the first time that I have done a full-fledged entertainment-driven role. A lovable character it is. The father-son relationship and the heroine-hero equations will be a major highlight.

What is it with 'Ammayilu manasshanthiki hanikaram'? We heard that the line has been removed from the movie. Also, how does it sit with the title?

It's just a part of the flow. Just that because it's in the trailer, it is seeming to be very important. Otherwise, it's just a line that my character speaks when he is frustrated. The line is there as it is in the movie.

The title was chosen because it perfectly sits with the celebratory mood of the movie.

How close is the movie to 'Ninne Pelladatha'?

It has no similarities with 'Ninne Pelladatha'. The idea was to do a movie that has a high place for family emotions. The conflicts between the two and how they patch up is what is all there just as 'NP' had.

Kalyan Krishna proved to a special life. Tell us about your journey with him from the beginning.

I and him interacted a lot before the release of 'Soggade Chinni Nayana'. We spent a lot of time. It's when I felt that I should do a film that increases my span and widens my reach. And Kalyan Krishna knows the mass pulse. His style of presentation is fresh. He is the perfect director, I felt. He has done a balancing act with my mannerisms. He is a lovely director. The audience too will feel the same.

How was it working with Jagapathi Babu?

It was a great experience. It's for the first time that I got to do a full-fledged role with such a senior actor. His contribution and advises were very useful. He would suggest new ideas. He is called a senior actor for a reason.

Some feel that Nagarjuna should have played the role.

(Laughs). No.. JB gare correct.

Tell us about Devi Sri Prasad's work.

He has given a number of hits for Akkineni family's movies. Not just music-wise, he gave me advises that went into bettering my performance. He listened to the story and told me how he would give the RR for particular scenes. I attuned my performance keeping that in mind. My acting graph got molded accordingly.

Your father has said that you are looking very energetic because of Samantha.

(Smiles). May be. Ade reason emo. When you are happy with your personal life, it shows itself in your professional life. I am very happy with the direction my life is going to take.

And where is your wedding going to be held?

It's going to be in October. We haven't decided on the venue, but it will mostly be in India. If not Hyderabad, it will be in some other location. The wedding will take place as per Hindu and Christian traditions, separately.

When are you going to team up with Chandoo Mondeti and Mohankrishna Indraganti? Are you debuting in Tamil this year?

Chandoo has narrated a line, which I liked. He is developing the script. In a month's time or so, we will announce the project. As Indraganti garu is busy with 'Ami Thumi' right now, we will think about teaming up later. As for Tamil, there are talks and nothing else is finalized. Let 'RVC' release first.
