Railway police cases against KCR, others lifted

A local court in Telangana has struck off the cases registered by Railway police against K Chandrasekhar Rao and others during the Telangana agitation years ago. The court has taken the decision on the basis of a report submitted by the police. The cases were filed by the Vikarabad and Nizamabad police.

Besides the Telangana chief minister, police cases against KTR, Harish Rao, Kodandaram and others have also been lifted.

The state government too felt that the cases should go.
