Ghantasala Ratnakumar is all for promoting the art of dubbing. Thus, he seeks to lend his voice for the voice-over for an eight-hour programme. This is being held at Prasad Labs from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. today.
"I have won many laurels and awards. I have had the privilege to lend my voice for about 1076 films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam over the years. I was the first one to receive the State Award instituted to recognise dubbing artists. I have not taken up this cause in order to get into the records book. This is for the promotion of the cause of dubbing," Ratnakumar said.
Soon after the event, his achievement will be registered in the Indian Book of Records and Asian Book of Records. It will be scrutinised later for the Amazing Book of Records.
