Ethan Hunt is back on the hunt again and for the 5th time in a row in two decades he continues to entertain with some pot boiling action sequences, which is why it has always been lauded for. A mission, a whacky team spearheaded by Ethan, a cold blooded spy who goes out all guns blazing to ensure his mission is accomplished, even if it means an effort so close to pulling off some super humanly insane stunts, well that's what the MI franchise been proud off, so no wonder it's still pulling crowds and so is the latest installment too.

Rogue Nation starts off with a familiar Hunt tracking down some exiled terror groups by pulling off miraculous stunts. First few moments into the movie and we are guaranteed of an action packed movie in the making, the Aeroplane stunt is simply jaw dropping in terms of choreography, camera and especially Tom Cruises' stunts. MI5 is far more complex movie in terms of riddles, chaos, puzzles, betrayal and of course action than other movies in its franchise. With Jurassic World raking in more than 100 crores just in India after being received really well not just in English but in regional languages as well, its only obvious that MI5 is also being dubbed into Tamil and most of the regional languages in India, thanks to Tom Cruise's wide popularity.

At 53, Tom Cruise looks 35 when he pulls off daring stunts and action sequences; Mission Impossible 5 has always been alive due to daredevil action sequences. An Evil organization called Syndicate is taking over the world one well-planned terror act at a time. Its soft-spoken plotter Solomon Lane takes the villain role with a single motto, to wipe out all IMF resources and make the group responsible.

Faced with this ultimate threat, Hunt needs all the resources of IMF. Only IMF has been disbanded thanks to the attempts of CIA head Alan Hunley (Alec Baldwin). Left to his own devices, Hunt gathers his loyal band of merry men - Benji (Simon Pegg), Brandt (Jeremy Runner) and Luther (Ving Rhames). As in any other MI movie, a lady detective slash spy operative is a must and here is Ilsa(Rebecca) as an undercover operative who is supposedly a good girl, but gone bad or is it? The journey takes them across Moracco, Istanbul, Vienna and then the plot is set for a grand finale in London.

The first act is magnificent. Set at the Vienna State Opera, three separate hitmen (and woman), plus Ethan, plus Benji, get comfortable about backstage to either carry out or prevent the assassination of the Austrian Chancellor. But rather than just a mere assassination the heat of the action sequence is taken to a next level and is beautifully paced to build tension, putting us in a question of who is good, who is bad and does the chancellor get assassinated at all.

As in many other Mission Impossible movies the fancy face mask which always brings a surprise on the viewers by springing in at the most unexpected moment is here too, something as an element of surprise blows us completely. If you are watching the movie in Tamil, don't forget to watch out for the freakishly funny lines from Benji, completely floors you.

In Ghost Protocol we see Tom Cruise scaling the heights of the tallest tower in the world, here he jumps into a shallow whirlwind of water turbine like security level and continues to amaze with his elevated tricks with the help of his team. Rebecca is the surprise package of Mission Impossible for she has more scope in terms of acting equivalent to Ethan Hunt's character and puzzles her character continuously.

Mission Impossible sure is an interesting franchise, on the lines of spy movies, bond and other detective movies continues to innovate so that the franchise doesn't grow old. Christopher McQuarrie  has infused action as its primary motto and clearly it has never dried down to the end.

Watch it in Tamil or English at a theatre near you, for the action is simply awesome every minute.

Verdict : Tom Cruise continues to dazzle us.
