സഹകരണ തട്ടിപ്പുകൾക്ക് എതിരെ കരുവന്നൂരിൽ നിന്ന് തൃശൂരിലേക്ക് പദയാത്ര നടത്തിയതിന് നടൻ സുരേഷ് ഗോപിക്കെതിരെ കേസെടുത്ത് പൊലീസ്. സുരേഷ് ഗോപിക്കും മറ്റ് ബിജെപി നേതാക്കൾക്കുമെതിരെ തൃശൂർ ഈസ്റ്റ് പൊലീസാണ് കേസെടുത്തത്. പദയാത്ര നടത്തി വാഹന തടസ്സം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചതിനാണ് പൊലീസ് കേസെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.
സുരേഷ് ഗോപി ഉൾപ്പെടെ 500 പേർക്കെതിരെയാണ് കേസ്. ഈ മാസം 2 നായിരുന്നു സഹകരണ മേഖലയിലെ കൊള്ളയ്ക്കും കള്ളപ്പണ തട്ടിപ്പിനുമെതിരെ സുരേഷ് ഗോപി നയിച്ച ബിജെപിയുടെ സഹകാരി സംരക്ഷണ പദയാത്ര നടന്നത്. ബിജെപി സംസ്ഥാന അധ്യക്ഷൻ കെ സുരേന്ദ്രൻ ഫ്ലാഗ് ഓഫ് ചെയ്ത പദയാത്രയുടെ സമാപന സമ്മേളനം എം ടി രമേശാണ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തത്. കരുവന്നൂർ മുതൽ തൃശൂർ വരെയുള്ള 18 കിലോമീറ്റർ ദൂരത്തിലും പാതയോരങ്ങളിൽ നൂറുകണക്കിനാളുകളാണ് പദയാത്രയിൽ അഭിവാദ്യമർപ്പിക്കാനെത്തിയത്.
