Did RGV's 'Satya' have a script? Read on..

Ram Gopal Varma has been quoted saying by a media outlet that he started making flops only after he began writing bound scripts. 'Satya' and 'Company' went to the floors without a bound script, he said.

This is not the first time that RGV suggested that 'Satya' was made without a script. Something that "looked like a script" (penned by the then 23-year-old Anurag Kashyap and Saurabh Shukla) was there, but not a script in the conventional sense. Kashyap and Shukla (who would play the film's riveting character of Kallu Mama) wrote the organic pages at RGV's farmhouse in Hyderabad.

As Ramu shot the film, he improvised on the spot, and even let his actors get creative. And when Gulshan Kumar, a renowned music magnate was assassinated, the script was re-imagined!
