Billionaire Elon Musk apart from his ambitious Space X program to send cargo to Mars by 2022, is also toying with the idea to develop a travel program that could reach you anywhere on the earth within an hour. He is planning to build a rocket program named BFR which is capable of travelling to anywhere on the earth in an hour.

If the concept becomes reality, Musk said a journey from New York to Shanghai can be done in about 30 minutes. Musk went on to say that if we can look at colonizing and sending Humans to Mars in rockets, why not within Earth. He also said that he is ready to shell out money for this technology from his own personal pocket if it were to conceptualize. Musk has been lauded for his initiatives in technology and renewable energy sources. He also added that the cost for this one hour travel will not be enormous and will look to make it as efficient as an economy ticket in an aircraft.
