You can never accuse of Uday of never trying.

The young and earnest star is always at it, constantly trying to improve his performance and making new experiments.

Every one knows that his career is not going anywhere in Telugu. His last release Avunanna Kadhanna was one big flop.

The shadow of the fall-out with Chiru's family is also proving to be a major handicap for him (so much so, he was rumored to give up films totally and planning to set up a hotel in London).

But he is still amidst us, giving all his best. Apart from the fact that he is pencilled to do two films in Telugu --- one to be directed by Marthand Shankar(brother of Marthand K Venkatesh) and the other a remake of a Kannada hit, Uday has made bold to go to Tamil.

Except for Nagarjuna, none of the Telugu heroes have had great success in Tamil. But Uday, who is doing veteran K Balachandar's Poii, is hopeful of making a mark.

Ofcourse, he has to thank his friend Prakash Raj, who is incidentally the producer of the film, for giving him a break in Tamil.

Uday, we can assure you, will keep trying.
