It was reported not very long ago that a major visual treat awaits Challenging Star Darshan fans on September 18 or September 19 and we hear that it could either be the Kaatera teaser or a special promo from the film.

While these updates are still in the 'tentative' bracket, Real Star Upendra fans can rest assured because the actor-filmmaker just confirmed he is releasing the teaser of his next directorial 'UI' very soon.

Earlier today, on September 11, Upendra & Co. released a 'teaser' of the upcoming teaser which featured the star himself. In the video or the shtick, we see Upendra and his entourage addressing a large battalion of fans stationed outside his home as they demand the UI teaser. The Real Star responds by saying that he wants his fans to watch the film on the big screen instead of watching a teaser on their phones. But turns out one of his own people believes that a film's teaser is a vital component in its release strategy and that audiences decide to watch a film only when they like the teaser. Luckily, Upendra agrees and announces that the maiden teaser of UI will be released on Monday, September 18.

However, the video promo will be launched on the big screen with Upendra announcing that Bengaluru's popular Urvashi Cinemas will play the host for this special event. UI teaser will premiere on September 18 at the said cinema hall at 3 pm, but it isn't certain whether it will also be made available online.

In a recent interview, producer KP Sreekanth said that the entire team is striving hard to bring the film to theatres by the end of 2023. In this pursuit, Upendra has already begun dubbing for the film and we also hear that the editing got underway a few weeks ago. This will be his eleventh outing as a director
