Earlier on Tuesday, Tamil Nadu BJP President Tamilisai Soundararajan had said at a press briefing that DMK chief Stalin is in touch with the BJP. Her statements have been interpreted as DMK's inclination to join the NDA should the latter need the party's support after May 23. BJP is in alliance with DMK's arch-rival AIADMK in TN.

DMK President MK Stalin has reacted to the BJP President's claim. He threw a challenge to her and Narendra Modi. "If Tamilisai and Modi prove that I am in contact with BJP to form an alliance with them, I will quit politics. If they fail to prove, will she and Modi quit politics? I condemn the statement made by her," Stalin said.

There is much drama going on ahead of the May 23rd results. Nobody is confidently able to predict how many seats the AIADMK+ and DMK+ are going to win in TN.
