Pankaj Tripathi has now become famous among the masses after giving a bunch of iconic performances in movies and web series. In an recent interview he revealed that he is still distraught about the demise of Irrfan Khan who inspired him to become a better actor.

Pankaj said, "I really liked Irrfan Khan and was very sad when we lost him and even today I am, because he inspired me. I watched Maqbool, Warrior and almost all his films.” He added, “I think he was the only Indian actor whose every film I’ve seen. I felt like he was doing something different and this is the impact acting should have.”

Pankaj and Irrfan shared screen briefly in 'Angrezi Medium' and Pankaj says that the only reason he acted in it was that he got to work with Irrfan.
